Overview Video & Assembly Guide

This is a high quality 3d printed case for the 3x6 MX Corne keyboard with FR4 switch plates. The case can optionally be tented and have a closed or honeycomb bottom for RGB underglow lighting to shine through (honeycomb works best when tented). The tented version has 4 holes on each side sized for m4 socket screws included in the kit along with all other necessary hardware.

DISPLAY COVERS SOLD SEPARATELY. Find them here: Corne Display Covers

The case also has a cutout on the side for either a trrs jack and reset button or a power switch and reset button for wireless (Nice!Nano) versions of the Corne (like the ones from Typeractive) and a cutout on the front for connecting a cable to your microcontroller via usb.

What's Included?

  • Case
  • 2 FR4 Switch Plates
  • 22 m2 x 4mm screws (2 extra)
  • 10 m2 x 8mm standoffs (for switch plates)
  • 8 rubber feet

Tented Case Also Includes

Disclaimer

These are 3d printed parts so small imperfections are to be expected. That said, these cases are printed with a high quality printer. The FR4 plates might also have some minor imperfections from the factory.

Excellent case and supporting parts

I ordered the black hex tented version of the case, and it arrived exactly as specified. The tenting screws can be adjusted a lot for your own specific orgo needs, and the case itself feels solid.

The only two things I have to nitpick are that the microcontroller USB hole is pretty small which makes the USB cable a VERY snug fit, and the microcontroller plate could benefit from some kind of case protrusion to help support the end not secured with screws.

Other than that, the case is great quality and you wouldnt know it was 3d printed unless you look closely. 9/10 would recommend.
